Support Boxes
The Mission Sight Support Box program aims to distribute resources to youth in a private way that raises awareness while involving elements of fun. Often, when young children spend time with a loved one suffering from a disability, they experience feelings of frustration as they cannot fully comprehend the situation.
We present information on ocular diseases in easy-to-understand formats geared toward the age of each recipient, and we provide tools to recipients to support both themselves and those around them. Delivery is direct to places of residence, but depending on location, there is the possibility of pick up through the ophthalmology department of a local hospital.
Although our organization is dedicated to making change concerning the visually impaired community, we advocate for and spread awareness of many disabilities. Regardless of the disability being considered, we encourage you to participate in this program. Additionally, although our boxes are constructed for children, they are not limited to any age group.
